Mistletoe Wreaths

25 compositions of glass beads imitating mistletoe twigs in different color schemes. The mistletoe bush is associated with protective powers in many cultures and is especially popular during the Christmas and New Year period. Homes are decorated with mistletoe, people kiss under it, and mistletoe or its berries decorate the Christmas table. It is believed that a couple who kisses under mistletoe will live a happy life. I created this installation for the Vilnius Glass Quarter in 2019, and it was later exhibited in Trakai and Anykščiai.
