With every month, every half a year, Julia Janus collections become a contemporary design phenomenon that leaves a significant mark in the history of applied arts of Baltic countries and intercultural collaborations.
You already have noticed that Julia Janus is a laboratory, a kitchen where ideas are created, purified, materialized and served to taste. Publication Fashion&Food is a natural continuation of ideas that serves one more result of interdisciplinary collaborations. It connects the New Northern, or Baltic, gastronomy with fashion through visual dialogues.
This season we were joined by three innovative restaurants and their chefs: chef Artūras Naidenko from “Uoksas” (Lithuania, Kaunas); chefs Martins Sirmais ir Eriks Dreibants from “Tre Pavars” (Latvia, Riga); and chef Maris Jansons from “Biblioteka1” ( Latvia, Riga).
